Curving gravel path through a lush subtropical garden

Landscaping · Brisbane’s north-west

Gardens built for Brisbane’s weather.

Retaining walls, paving, turf and planting across Samford, The Gap and surrounds. Designed to handle summer storms and dry winters, and to look better every year.

  • Plants that suit Brisbane

Natives and subtropicals that handle summer storms and dry winters, chosen for your soil and sun.

  • Drainage done first

Every wall, path and garden bed is built with water in mind, so nothing washes out after the first big storm.

  • A tidy site, every day

We sweep up and stack materials neatly before we leave, so you can still use your yard while we work.

What we do

From the first sketch to the last bag of mulch

  • Sandstone-look block wall with paving and clipped hedges

    Retaining walls

Block, sandstone and timber sleeper walls, engineered where needed, with proper drainage behind.

  • Sandstone stepping stones set into a green lawn

    Paving and paths

Paved entertaining areas, stepping-stone paths and gravel garden walks that stay level.

  • Freshly mown lawn with neat stripes beside garden beds

    Turf and lawns

Soil preparation and new turf laid properly, with watering advice for the first few weeks.

  • Yellow kangaroo paw flowers among strappy green leaves

    Native and subtropical planting

Grass trees, kangaroo paws, lomandras and lush subtropical beds, planted and mulched.

  • Garden bed edged with large rocks, mulch and flowering plants

    Garden makeovers

Tired beds cleared, edged, replanted and mulched, keeping the plants worth keeping.

  • Outdoor dining setting on a lawn below block retaining wall steps

    Outdoor living areas

Level spaces for a table and chairs, built into the slope with steps and garden around them.

Through the year

When to do what in a Brisbane garden

  • Autumn

    March – May

The best time to plant. Warm soil and milder days help new plants settle before winter.

  • Winter

    June – August

Dry and mild: ideal for walls, paving and other construction.

  • Spring

    September – November

Turf goes in and gardens put on fresh growth. Book early, it’s our busiest season.

  • Summer

    December – February

Storm season. A good time to check drainage and top up mulch to hold in moisture.
